These are the details of all the events of eSpice 2K5
Act an Ad:
The team will be required to enact an advertisement on a computer– based product. The participants can bring along audio aids and costumes. The presentation must be of 2 minutes. There will be negative marking of presentations widely exceeding the time limit.
Crypt It!!
You will be given 1 hour to solve 4 logic based problems in C++.
Cyber Designing
Each team will be given 1 ½ hour to design a web site on the given topic. Team will be provided MS-FrontPage, PhotoShop & Flash Software to create the web site.
Digital Expression
Each team will be required to create a Digital Image on the topic “Indian Gods in Greek Mythology”. Every team is required to submit a hard and a soft copy of the image in .jpg format burnt on a CD latest by 6th September 2K5.
Note :- Please carry a copy of the image on a CD on the final day
The Zarquon's Test
The Zarquon has decided to test the ultimate geeks in areas of his choice in whichever way he pleases. It could be programming, logic, reasoning, IT know how etc...
So, send your best 2 coz' this is 'THE BIG ONE' in terms of both the points & enlightenment.
Flash Ur Animation
The team will be required to design a 3 minutes long presentation on the topic “The Game of Politics” using Macromedia Flash (6.0). Every team is required to submit a soft copy of the presentation burnt on a CD latest by 6th September 2K5.
Note :- Please carry a copy of your presentation on a CD on the final day
Game Arena
Students will be given a computer game that they have to play and achieve the specific goal. The game, the basis of judging and time limit will be given on the spot.
Tease Your Brain(Group Discussion)
There will be two 30 minutes preliminary rounds out of which six students will be short listed for a 30 minutes final round. The topics will be given on the spot.
Lights Camera Action
Each team will be required to make a movie on the theme “Jo Jita Wohi Sikandar”. The movie should be burnt on a CD and submitted latest by 6th September 2K5.

Quiz it Down and Across
In the preliminary elimination rounds, questions will be related to the nitty-gritty of the world of computing. A total of 6 teams will qualify for the final round where questions will be based on computers and technology.
The Ultimate DJ
The teams will be required to mix songs using Fruity loops , Virtual DJ. Songs will be available on the PC itself, songs other than that are not allowed.
